There is nothing quite like paradise and when you get to stay in a condo such as this, paradise reaches entirely new levels. The two bedroom condo is centrally located with incredible views. Take in all that Cost Rica offers sitting on one of two balconies. Hear the Monkeys playing in the trees while you watch the sun rise. Have a glass of wine or play a family board game while the sun sets behind the trees. Don't feel like exploring one of the many nearby beaches, go down to the amazing pool. Enjoy a swim and cook out in the outdoor community kitchen. Dozens of delicious restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. The condo is beautifully decorated and couldn't be more comfortable. You have all of the comforts of home while enjoying the surf, sand and sites of Costa Rica. Our family surfed, went zip lining, explored numerous beaches, ate amazing food and enjoyed meeting the friendly people of Costa Rica. The landlords provided us with multiple lists of activities, restaurants and sites. The condo is located in a gated secure building with dedicated parking. This is Pura Vida at its finest."

We rented this condo after reading the glowing reviews from previous guests, and were pleased to see the reviews are spot on! The condo is spacious, beautifully decorated, and our family of four felt very at home here. It is a short walk to the town of Tamarindo (either on the road or via the beach!). We enjoyed walking on the beach to town so much that we returned our rental car on the second day (as it wasn't needed at all!). One evening we decided to take a cab back to the condo, as it started to rain--and it was a cheap ride ($5)---so really no need for a rental car if you aren't planning on exploring on your own. The activities we purchased (adventure trip to Rincon de la Vieja, estuary tour, and sunset sailing) included transportation in the cost. We also took paddleboard/surf lessons while we were here (with Nicholas at the Langosta Beach Club---he's great!!). Jairo at Langosta Beach Club helped coordinate all of our activities--and he was extremely helpful and friendly! A couple of days during our 10 day stay here (initially we booked 8 nights--but loved it so much we extended our trip two additional nights) we simply relaxed by the beautiful pool here at the Peninsula. In addition to the beauty inside the condo, the grounds are exceptionally maintained, and the staff all made us feel welcome. Another big plus was daily visits from howler monkeys (two of the afternoons we counted over 20 at a time!!) in the trees outside of the condo (beside of Walter's Fish and Cheeses (a great place to eat/visit with incredibly friendly owners!)). Nicole (the condo owner) also provided a very informative binder that she created for her guests. It included all kinds of info, from emergency numbers, restaurant and tour recommendations, to beach access, etc. Both Nicole and Leo (from Blue Moon) were extremely responsive and helpful when questions arose while planning our trip, and while we were here. We look forward to our next opportunity to visit Costa Rica (and will definitely be returning to Peninsula when we do!). Pura Vida!! I haven't felt this relaxed in years!!"

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Langosta/Tamarindo. The condo was beautifully furnished and was equipped with everything we could possibly need! It had a gorgeous view from the balcony, and the complex had a wonderful pool to relax by when we were not out by the beach.
The condo is in a secure gated community, is within a short distance to the beach and within 15 minutes to town where there are many restaurants to choose from. The owners were wonderful and gave us many tips for places to eat and things to do/see. We are definitely planning a return visit!"

We have been wanting to go to Costa Rica for quite a while and when we finally decided to visit this wonderful place, we wanted to be sure to stay somewhere that offered all the comforts of home and then some. This condo was not only beautiful with its gorgeous decor, but it was incredibly comfortable. Everything from the sofas and beds, to the patio furniture were comfy and cozy. We loved having the full kitchen to cook breakfast (on most days) before heading out for whatever adventure awaited us. The patio and view from it are awesome. The bathrooms are both very large and the jacuzzi tub in the master is wonderful. I found myself there a few times with a glass of wine. My husband and son both loved the fact that there was Netflix available to watch some TV when we had down time and we all loved the condo pool. It was a great size with lots of lounge chairs.The condo has 24 hour security with a gated entrance, so we felt very safe and sound too. The condo has everything you could want....extra bath towels, beach towels, hair dryers, lots of cookware and some essential kitchen gadgets like a corkscrew. :)
The condo is in THE BEST location. It's not in the middle of the liveliness of the main street in Tamarindo, but is close enough to walk if you wanted (we usually drove though, which takes 5 or 6 minutes). It's next door to some great restaurants--El Sappo for Pizza (we went twice) and Walter's Fish and Cheeses (a cute little shop run by the nicest man who will make you a plate of delicious smoked fish, meats and cheese). We also very much enjoyed the resort across the street, Cala Luna. I had a massage and facial there (all outdoors in a private, beautiful setting) and we spent some time at the pool/bar there and watched the sunset from their beach access area. So breathtaking. The staff there is beyond friendly.
In town, there are so many places to eat, so many happy hours to enjoy and lots of areas on the beach for having fun. My 12 year old son took a surf lesson one day and other days just had fun on a boogie board.
You can really make this vacation what you want. This spot is perfect for families like ours who want some peace and quiet (I actually finished reading a novel on this vacation!), but it also offers many adventures that are close by. I would highly recommend Peninsula #56 for all of the reasons above and the owners are extremely helpful, friendly, thoughtful people. Top notch! We would stay there again for sure!"

This Condo is not only strategically located near beautiful beaches in Guanacaste but it also has the perfect amenities for our family: 2 rooms-two bathrooms, sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen very, very secure location, pool, etc. Ah, I almost forgot, the view is just awesome and you are just 3 minutes driven from busy Tamarindo downtown...If you are a family traveling with kids to Guanacaste I will highly recommend this option."

This is a perfect "home base" for an absolutely wonderful vacation experience. Close enough to the fun of Tamarindo's shops and restaurants, as well as the beautiful beaches, but still somewhat secluded for nice, quiet relaxation when you want it. It has the secure feel of a gated community without feeling like you're locked away from what you came to experience... Pura Vida. The condo is, very clean and beautifully appointed with a great kitchen and fantastic space to kick back. It was a fantastic place to call home during our vacation!"

The condo was very comfortable and clean in a beautiful building. It was a great fit for our family of 4, which includes 2 teenagers. Everyone had plenty of space. It felt like a home away from home. We loved the pool. It was big, and the water was a great temperature. The pool was never crowded, sometimes it was just our family. The condo is in a great location, just far enough away from the crowded area of Tamarindo, but close enough to easily get to town. We rented a golf cart from the shop next door to the condo and it worked out perfectly for our family to get to and from Tamarindo. We would definitely stay here again."

This place was very good. It's not as big as you might think because of the pictures, but it is definitely worth your time. It's very luxurious, clean, spacious and both room are very comfy. There's really nothing bad to say about it. It has two parking sports, the security guard is very nice, you have a ping pong table, very big pool, air hockey, a grill for BBQ parties. It really is very nice, we didn't want to leave."

This unit is everything you would want in a vacation rental. It is clean, well furnished with new appliances and furniture and a balcony with views of the sunset over Tamarindo beach. It is in a newer quiet condo building with 24 hour security, ample parking, and well maintained grounds. The pool is inviting and the BBQ area is a great place for an evening cookout.
There is a short walk to the beach or if you like, a short walk into town with its many bars and places to eat. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to get away from it all while still having all the comforts of home.

One of the things I loved the most about this condo is how nicely and comfortably it is furnished. We travel extensively and often find ourselves sourounded by furniture and beds that simply aren't comfortable. This home is decorated top notch. Although we had a car, we walked everywhere. Loved the little shrimp shack, early morning walks on the beach with a stop for breakfast and smoothies, seeing monkeys, Walter's next door for happy hour treats and decent wine, and stand up paddle board yoga. It was the super hot(way hot) and dry season(ugly scenery) in April and I would not return during that time of year again. Also unfortunate is how close the condo building is built next door. It blocks much of what would be a spectacular view. Even so, this is a fabulous place to stay. Near the action, but removed enough for a peaceful and lovely escape. My only recommendation would be to provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and small cooler to make it easier for guests to go out and explore beaches. We found a place in town to rent them but it wasn't easy. Most places we stay that are on or near a beach provides these items. If you are looking to visit this area I recommend this condo. The owners were nice and easy to work with. Thank you."

We cannot say enough great things about our stay at this awesome condo. The locations was perfect, as it was within walking distance to the beach and lots of different restaurants. The condo was comfortable, peaceful and tastefully decorated. It had all the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. We absolutely enjoyed bbqing and eating our dinner out by the pool. This was by far our best vacation to date. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a spectacular place to stay. The owners are great to work with! We will definitely be back."

We really enjoyed staying at the vacation rental. It was spacious, fully stocked, modern and clean. We felt very safe and the security guards were extremely helpful and kind. In addition, Nicole, the owner, was very responsive and great at communicating everything we needed to know. It's a 5 dollar cab ride to the main strip of town. We highly recommend booking the adventure your next door at waterman s plaza. It was the highlight of our trip!
